There are 2 route and station alternatives. The AIR-1 route runs along the northside of Airport Road and connects to station alternative AIR-A. The AIR-2 route alternative runs along the southside of Airport Road and connects to station alternative AIR-B then crosses to the northside of Airport Road near Holly Drive.

Alternatives

Alternative AIR-1A consists of Alignment AIR-1 and Station AIR-A.

Alignment: AIR-1 would run elevated on the east side of Airport Road with a short section of at-grade profile north of Evergreen Way. The height of the guideway would range between at-grade and approximately 50 feet high.

Station: AIR-A would be an elevated station near SR 99. The station canopy would be approximately 70 feet above the ground.

Alternative AIR-2B consists of Alignment AIR-2 and Station AIR-B.

Alignment: AIR-2 would run elevated on the west side of Airport Road. The guideway would cross to the east side of Airport Road north of 112th St SW. The height of the guideway would range between approximately 30 and 65 feet high.

Station: AIR-B would be an elevated station near SR 99. The station canopy would be approximately 80 feet above the ground and would require an intermediate landing.

  • AIR-1A: 0.2 acres of wetlands, 50 linear feet of streams, and 0.7 acres of open space upland habitats.
